Game changing makeup

1. Cle de peau concealer in beige

I have always had dark circles under my eyes even when I was a child so it has nothing to do with whether I am tired or dehydrated etc. So for me under eye concealer is the most important make up that I use. After literally trying every single concealor this is my favourite. It has thick coverage but it looks like skin! I apply it with my finger tips and gently tap it to blend it in. The tom ford concealer  also really good  but its not as natural looking up close.

2. The Armani High precision concealer in number 3

This is another amazing under eye concealer I have been using it for years and I couldn’t leave it off this list. It is even more natural looking than the cle de peau concealer but provides lighter coverage and won’t stay put as long (definitely needs a setting powder my fav is the Laura Mercier secret brightening powder) . I think this is a great one to use when you need less coverage or on a very sunny bright day.

3. Kevin Aucoin sculpting powder in medium

I think every one already knows and loves this product. The grey tone of it mimics shadows so well that any contouring looks incredibly real.

4. Armani Eye & Brow maestro gel in wedge wood

Use this with an angled brush and you can actually draw the fine lines of eye brow hair. My eye brows do not grow well so with makeup I literally have to create their shape as well as fill them in. So I spent years searching for the most natural looking filler and this is it. I also like beauty a la carts eye brow pen which is more long lasting but just not as natural looking.

5. Armani eyes to kill mascara in black excess/Charlotte Tilbury legendary lashes

I like mascaras that give a lot of volume and length. Thats the look I go for. You can build both of these mascaras up to create a really feline long thick lashed look. I also like the Lancome Grandiose mascara which I sometimes add to the tips of my lashes after using either the Armani or the Charlotte one. They are both the best mascaras I have ver found for achieving this look that I like. However with both of these you must allow each coat to dry before applying the next about twenty seconds or it starts looking gloopy and you lose the length. The only difference that stands out to me between the two is that the Charlotte one has a glossier finish than the Armani.

6. Suqqu frame fix cream foundation in 003

Suqqu is a Japanese brand that makes many very high quality products but its foundation is next level tings! Amazing coverage, beautiful natural semi matt finish.  I only use it in the evenings though as its way to much coverage for the day time.

7. Charlotte Tilbury Magic foundation in 4

I only recently discovered this and it is amazing! So so natural it looks like I am not wearing anything on my skin but the coverage is really good.

8. Bare minerals foundation in medium beige

Every time I wear this I get compliments on my skin. Its great because you don’t need a setting powder and it lasts and lasts. Also again its so natural looking it doesn’t look like you are wearing makeup. You buff it into the into the skin and you get a beautiful semi matt finish. Coverage is also very good. This is a good foundation to wear on a first date or with your husband who would rather  believe you don’t wear make up lol.

9. Perricone MD – No highlighter highlighter

This actually looks like real light reflecting on the face. Not glittery, not shimmery not overly pearlized. So natural, so effective. I use it above my cupids bow, above cheek bones and on cheeks. Beautiful!

11. Becca Beach tint water resistant cheek and lip colour in -Guava, watermelon and grapefruit.

These beach tints buff into the skin so perfectly and give that healthy post work out flush. They blend so well they  look like you aren’t wearing any makeup at all. I like to blend a tiny dab of the Perricone MD no highlighter highlight on top.

12. NYX Soft Matt lip cream in London

I have never found a matt lip product  that looks so beautiful on as these these lip creams. I was loyal to the Tom Ford lipstick range (love the colours) but honestly their texture is so thick that I don’t like how they look in bright natural day light. These nyx lip colours don’t even need a base of lip balm underneath they just sit perfectly on the lip straight away and the velvet finish is stunning.  On top of that I can not believe how reasonable priced they are; £6!!!???  My favourite colour is London but I also love Abu Dhabi and Buenos Aires.

13. Kevin Aucoin fleshtone lip pencil in minimal

I use this every single day and have not found another lip liner that compares. One more staple product from Kenvin Aucoin.

Shu Umuera – Stage Performer-Instant Glow

I wear this under foundation or on its own it the gives the skin skin a beautiful glow. Its a bit more natural than a lot of the other brightening bases out there. I love wearing it on its own with kiel’s micro blur skin/ysl  touche éclat blur perfector on my t- zone (to blur out any visible pores and matify)

Kiehls micro-blur skin perfector

I started getting obsessed with porelsess skin about three years ago. I just love that baby skin look and I don’t like using much powder as its so hard to look fresh with loads of powder on. This is such a miracle  it just blends away pores and looks like you have nothing on your skin.

YSL Touche éclat blur perfector

Im crazy about this product especially for summer. During the day if you are looking a bit oily can just use this to touch up. It diminishes shine but doesnt look cakey or visible like blotting with powder can. It also hides pores very well so another plus. I don’t think i have taken this out of my make up bag since I bought it.
